    Yellow Diamonds

    Yellow diamonds aren’t always the norm for people however they have an incredible colour.
    Yellow diamonds form naturally underneath the earth’s surface, after a natural, rough, yellow diamond is brought to the surface it will then be carefully cut to further highlights its beauty.

    Yellow diamonds are part of the coloured diamond family and account for about 60% of all coloured diamonds. Their colour is caused by the presence of nitrogen in their crystalline structure, the more nitrogen that’s present, the more intense the colour

    Their colour can vary from something barely noticeable to colour so intense, it looks as yellow as the sun. Ranging from lightest to brightest, the colour grading scale for yellow GIA certified diamonds is as follows:

    • Fancy Light
    • Fancy Yellow
    • Fancy Intense
    • Fancy Vivid
