The Unique Beauty of Tahitian Pearls
Produced in the black-lipped oyster ‘Pinctada margaritifera’ and predominantly found in and around Tahiti, these stunning pearls are most noticeable for their rich, dark colours. Farms can be found throughout French Polynesia, and while Tahiti is well known as the trading centre for these pearls, there are no farms on the island itself.
